About
Program Type: CA Committee Program
Program Title: Fuel Up, Cougars
Learning Domain: Collaborative Leadership and Equity & Inclusion
Program Description: Residents will learn about clubs and organizations, how to find community, and team dynamics, and enjoy Gatorade and protein bars. Residents will meet in the 2nd-floor lobby of Black Oak Hall at 1:00 pm. They will get to talk to the Campus REC about what intramurals are and what else the REC has to offer. They will also get to grab a Gatorade and a protein bar as a way to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Budget: I will be using $21.56 for two 12 Fl Oz 18-packs of Gatorade. Then I will be using $24.15 for a two-pack (30 count) of Clif Bar minis. I will be using a total of $45.71(before shipping) out of my budget for this program.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Residents will use collaborative leadership skills to learn about clubs and organizations. Campus REC is a campus organization that has a lot to offer to students.
2. By having residents learn about the Campus REC, they can also learn about community. Going to the REC Center and doing activities at the REC can lead to meeting new people and building/finding community.
3. Residents will use equity & inclusion to learn about how the REC uses team dynamics. During any sport, yoga sessions, or outdoor adventure, people are working together.
