About

Texas Arts for Aid is a student organization that combines creativity with community service, using sustainable arts and crafts to make a meaningful impact on marginalized communities throughout Austin. Through multiple service workshops each semester, we create projects that directly benefit those in need, from holiday cards for senior centers to educational art kits for underserved schools, always emphasizing the use of sustainable and upcycled materials. Our organization builds community through bi-weekly general meetings, collaborative workshops, and social events that unite artists and crafters across campus, while our regular fundraising initiatives like student art marketplaces and craft fairs support ongoing service projects.
