About
Join us for a screening of Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove (1964), a black comedy about the threat of nuclear war.
A short introduction will open the evening, and a discussion will follow the film.
Can it be rational to threaten something it would be wrong to do? What does the film show about people and institutions that stop paying attention to what they are actually doing?
Pizza and popcorn will be provided, and all are welcome.
Hosted by the UNC Philosophy Department and co-sponsored by UNC's Educating for the Virtues of Attention (EVA).
