About

The NYPA x ColorStack X GWC College Hackathon will bring students together to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions that improve student success. Projects will focus on meaningful outcomes such as student retention, degree completion, graduation, and career readiness. Through hands-on collaboration, participants will strengthen their technical skills, explore the responsible use of artificial intelligence, and gain experience that prepares them for employment after college.

Beyond the competition, the hackathon aims to strengthen relationships and build trust among NYPA, the Bronx Tech Hub, and Lehman College students—particularly those pursuing careers in technology. By connecting students directly with industry professionals, the event can help establish a stronger pipeline to internships and employment while demonstrating the talent present at Lehman College. We also hope this partnership will encourage other technology companies to invest in, recruit from, and create opportunities for Lehman students.
