About
Closed captioning, transcripts, and audio descriptions help you to better reach everyone with your content!
Join us at this fun, hands-on workshop with Dr. Matthew Kim (Econ professor and Director of the Data Analytics Major), Peter Monahan (ITS Studio Production Engineer), and Digital Learning Success team members Jo Montie, Deli Rashid and David Maruyama.
Bring a device if you want to try something with an MP4 file that you have (e.g., narrated PowerPoint that needs closed captioning, some other file needing CC), or something you already have in the Panopto video platform.
Tuesday Nov. 10 (1:15-2:15 pm) in OSF Lib LL20 (or if need be, join via Zoom at this Zoom link...but come in person for after lunch treats if you can!)
Join us for a 30-minute presentation followed by 30 more minutes of hands-on workshop (if you want to apply these ideas to some file).
--Do you have an MP4 file (video) that needs closed captioning or better closed captioning?
--Use our Panopto video production platform to any MP4 (video) file to have accurate closed captioning.
--And if you have an audio file only (MP3) that can also be uploaded into Panopto to create an accessible audio file (both closed captioning and transcript).
--We’ll also have team members to help with audio description (AD) questions!
