About
Join the Kean Accounting & Finance Association for an interactive Bloomberg Crash Course led by Dr. Wang, designed to introduce students to the Bloomberg Terminal—one of the most powerful tools in finance—and help them get started with the Bloomberg Finance Fundamentals (BFF) Certification.
This 60-minute session will combine lecture and hands-on learning to build a strong foundation in using Bloomberg. The workshop will cover the basics of terminal navigation, including command functions and system layout, followed by an overview of the BFF certification and its requirements. The core portion of the session will focus on equity analysis using real-world data, where students will explore company profiles, financial statements, earnings estimates, price charts, and news. The session will also provide insight into global market trends and ETFs, helping students connect individual securities to broader market movements. A brief Q&A will conclude the session.
Perks of participation include gaining hands-on experience with Bloomberg, building confidence in financial analysis, preparing for coursework and research, and working toward the BFF certification.Tickets: No ticket purchase required. Space is limited to 34 participants, and attendees will work in pairs.
