About

Join us for a hands-on afternoon of shodō (書道), led by Japanese calligraphy artist Kuniharu Yoshida. You’ll watch a master at work and then pick up the brush yourself to create your own piece of art to take home. Whether you’ve studied Japanese for years or have never written a single character, this is your chance to slow down, try something new, and connect with a centuries-old tradition. No experience needed, just curiosity! Refreshments provided. Note: Please do not RSVP until you are 100% sure you can attend since spaces are limited.
