About

Join the Queer Straight Alliance on our first off-campus trip to Catzen! Minnesota’s first Specialty Coffee Shop and Cat Lounge! Catzen serves up a curated menu of specialty drinks, with local snacks and bites to eat, which can be enjoyed in their peaceful Cat Lounge or in the coffee shop seating. What’s the Cat Lounge, you ask? It’s a cozy room filled with soft seating and well-worn upholstered chairs, complete with books and games, and a welcoming fireplace. Surrounded by art on the wall, and with a background of jazz music, we welcome you to relax and forget the stress of the day for a time. The 8 Catzen Cats roam, nap, and play in the Lounge.

For more information on Catzen and their menu, please visit their website: Catzen Coffee

Due to space limitations, this event has a limited availability of 10 people. You MUST RSVP in order to attend. We will meet Saturday at 1:30 pm at the Luann Dummer Center for Women (OEC 103), to arrange transportation. Our reservation at Catzen is from 2 to 3 pm.
