About
Join us for our fifth meeting as we dive into the 6 most important years in modern music: 1967, 1971, 1977, 1983, 1991, and 1997! We'll go from the psychedelic explosion of the late '60s to punk, pop going global, alternative breaking into the mainstream, and genres blurring together by the late '90s.
What to expect:
Quick Presentation: A breakdown of each era, the defining albums, and what made each year a turning point.
Shared Listening: We'll listen to songs from these six years. Feel free to contribute a song, what year it's from, why you liked it, and how it connects to the era!
Trivia Game: A 12-question multiple-choice trivia game covering all six years — join a team or play solo; highest score wins.
