About

DESCRIPTION: Faith, Hope & Love Outreach Center is within walking distance of the TCU campus. Every month we collect thousands of pounds of food from Tarrant Area Food Bank and Midwest Food Bank to freely bless families and individuals in need. We have two days a month where we have volunteer opportunities: Prep the Pantry involves unloading our box truck that contains up to five pallets of food. After unloading the truck, we stock our shelves and freezers, and then break down and throw away all cardboard boxes. Food Distribution Saturday is when we open up our Food Pantry to freely give out our food to all our guests from the community. Volunteers are assigned a station, will hand out items and may assist guests in getting food to their vehicles. We normally start at 10:00am and are done by 11:00am. Volunteers would need to arrive by 9:30am for assignments.
