Join SHPE, ASME, and SWE for a hands-on workshop where you'll solder your own working FM radio kit from scratch, and take it home when you're done.

We'll walk you through the basics: how to handle a soldering iron safely, how to make clean joints, how to read a circuit board, and what each component does to pull a signal out of the air. No experience needed. Whether you've never touched a soldering iron or you're looking to sharpen your skills, this is a great chance to build something real, meet students across all three organizations, and walk away with a new skill (and a radio).
