About
Great leadership begins with listening and grows through understanding perspectives beyond our own. Join the John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways for "Voices Beyond Ours: Leadership Through Multiple Lenses," a dynamic workshop that explores how identity, culture, and lived experience shape leadership.
What to Expect:
• Dive into leadership theories like the Social Change Model and Adaptive Leadership
• Reflect on how differences can influence our background and leadership styles
• Understanding social perspectives and navigating systems
• Participate in our "Voices Gallery Walk" an interactive activity where you’ll engage with real stories and various leadership perspectives
• Explore how to amplify underrepresented voices and build connection across differences
Please bring your lunch. This is a brown bag event so enjoy your lunch during the workshop!
Why You Should Attend:This session will challenge you to think critically about your own leadership lens and empower you to lead with empathy, authenticity, and equity. Whether you're an emerging leader or a seasoned changemaker, this workshop will broaden your understanding of what it truly means to lead.
