This is an open space for food, faith and friends asking the tough questions - What is the purpose to life? Does God exist and if he does, what is God like? What does the Bible say about human suffering, morality, love and how does it compare to other worldviews and books? Who is Jesus and what was his message? Science and religion, inter-faith conversations, sharing life stories and more! Bring your lunch, a friend and your questions. All are welcome!
How it works: Usually we start with a prompt on the chalkbaord and discuss that and then move on to other topics as questions come up or when we finish a discussion as a group. Sometimes we have multiple discussions going on depending on how many people come that day. Our host group is called "Cru", a Christian minsitry at UB. Our goal is to foster open dialogue between open minded students who are searching for answers about God, the bible, other religious texts, Jesus, the afterlife, etc... This is NOT a formal debate environment. We allow everyone to defend/clarify their beliefs, even if there is disagreement.
