About

Please join the City of San Luis Obispo to celebrate Arbor Day and our 43rd year as a Tree City USA on Saturday, November 7th from 9 am - 12 pm at Meadow Park, 2251 Meadow St, San Luis Obispo. Parking for the event is off Meadow Street, and the event booths will be located by the Rotary Community Garden next to South Street.

Many large trees in Meadow Park were removed due to old age in recent years and this celebration is opportunity to join the City in replenishing the urban forest for the future. Several of the trees we will plant on November 7th were germinated from seed gathered by City Staff in French Park.

Our event this year will include a tree planting demonstration followed by an invitation to community members to plant trees donated to the event by Cal Poly.
