About
On November 10, the World Health Organization (WHO) will launch Together for Science and Health, a new initiative aiming to strengthen the connection between science, health, and society and build trust in evidence-informed decision-making. Several launch events are planned worldwide on this day, including one here at Yale.
Werner Obermeyer, Director of the WHO Office at the United Nations in New York, will join us to introduce the initiative and its goals. YSPH Dean Megan Ranney and a panel of Yale faculty will discuss Together for Science and Health and the broader landscape of trust in science and public health—its causes, consequences, and responses.
.......
