About

What does it take to move a breakthrough clean energy technology from prototype to deployed project? Join the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative for lunch with Ben Wolkon (MBA ’16), Founder & CEO of Avarna, working at the intersection of cutting-edge sustainable technology and the capital markets that bring them to scale.

Drawing on his experience financing early and growth-stage companies, Ben will explore the project finance landscape, key investor expectations, and practical strategies for entrepreneurs and impact investors navigating climate tech deployment. Whether you're building climate solutions or investing in them, this conversation will provide essential frameworks for translating innovation into sustainable impact.

Food Provided.
