In coordination with the Provost’s Office, NIU Libraries is collecting non-perishable, individually wrapped snack items now through December 12. The snack pantry in the Learning Commons of Founders Memorial Library supports students’ food needs between meals while they study and learn in the library. The snack pantry is located centrally in the Learning Commons on the first floor of the library near student support services such as the Huskie Academic Success Center, Statistics and Mathematics Assistance Center and the Research Help and Learning Commons Help desks.
Acceptable items include, but are not limited to:
Granola barsCracker packsFruit leathersPretzelsand other individually packaged snacks or small mealsDrop-off boxes are located in Altgeld Hall Suite 215 and near the entrance on the first floor of the Founders Memorial Library.
