About
Jar of Thanks is a Thanksgiving-themed craft program where residents will create personalized gratitude jars. Residents will decorate their jars using ribbons, stickers, and other craft materials before filling them with handwritten notes highlighting the people, memories, experiences, and little things they are grateful for. Residents will also have the opportunity to write encouraging notes for one another, promoting positivity and appreciation within their residential community Monday, November 23rd, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the North Commons Classroom, residents will be provided with jars, decorating supplies, and small pieces of paper to write down what they are thankful for. Throughout the activity, residents will be encouraged to reflect on their semester, recognize meaningful relationships, and connect with their peers through conversations about gratitude. At the end of the program, residents can take their jars home as a reminder of the positive things in their lives.
