About

The GW Undergraduate Research Award (URA) offers students $5,000 to fund a sustained faculty-mentored research project. In this session, the Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research (CUFR) will discuss how to create a strong research proposal by learning how to communicate the objectives, feasibility, and the significance of your research. Students will leave with a better understanding of the support services provided through CUFR and a thorough understanding of the URA application process.

This workshop is presented by the the Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research (CUFR). CUFR offers inclusive support and mentorship for undergraduate students and alumni pursuing awards and research opportunities. If you are interested in learning more about research or fellowship opportunities, consider booking a consultation with CUFR.

All sessions are free to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. GW has an institutional commitment to ensuring that all of our programs and events are accessible for all individuals. If you require any accommodations to participate in this event, please contact libraryevents@gwu.edu at least 72 business hours (3 business days) prior to the event.
