About
Residents will participate in Doughn't Stress About Money in celebration of National Donut Day, in partnership with the CSUSM Finance Society. While enjoying free donuts, residents will learn about financial literacy, including budgeting, understanding credit scores, managing credit cards responsibly, and balancing financial responsibilities as college students. Through interactive activities and discussions, residents will explore practical strategies for making informed financial decisions, reducing financial stress, and developing healthy financial habits that will benefit them throughout college and beyond.
By attending, residents will be able to:
• Identify at least two financial literacy strategies that can help residents manage their money, build credit responsibly, and reduce financial stress.
• Connect with members of the CSUSM Finance Society to learn about financial resources and opportunities for continued financial education.
• Explore budgeting techniques and the importance of understanding credit scores, credit cards, and financial responsibility.
Through this, the domains Social Responsibility and Collaborative Leadership will be fulfilled.
