About

The Food Security Roundtable will take place on Wednesday, November 11, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Alumni Hall in the HUB. The event will bring together students, faculty, and community members to discuss food security on campus, along with brainstorming ways to create a more equitable and sustainable food system here at Penn State.

Representatives from organizations such as the Food Recovery Network, Student Farm Club, Students United Against Poverty, and the Lion’s Pantry will be in attendance. Each of these organizations will be sharing highlights of their accomplishments, and attendees will have the opportunity to share their ideas and input with each of these important student organizations.

The event is open to the entire community, and all are encouraged to attend, share ideas, and be part of this important conversation about food security at Penn State.

There will be snacks served during the event as well!
