About

Join us for a screening of Sweet Country (2017), directed by Aboriginal Australian filmmaker Warwick Thornton. Set in Australia's Northern Territory in 1929, the film explores the experiences of Aboriginal Australians under colonial rule and raises important questions about justice, racism, cultural identity, and belonging.

This screening invites students to broaden their global perspectives, reflect on international Indigenous histories and engage in meaningful cross-cultural dialogue.

Refreshments will be provided.

Co-sponsored by University Libraries, the Office of Global Engagement, and International Academic Initiatives
