Winter Application Prep is a professional-development workshop designed to help students prepare for the winter application cycle for summer internships, fellowships, research programs, and related pre-professional opportunities. The event will combine a short guided session with dedicated hands-on work time. Topics will include finding programs that match a student's goals, organizing an application timeline, strengthening a CV or resume, approaching interviews, and communicating experiences effectively. Because this is an AMSA x LNMP (Neuroscience Society) collaboration, examples and resources may emphasize medicine, biomedical research, neuroscience, and related health-professional pathways while remaining useful to students pursuing a broad range of summer opportunities. Tentative Loyola advisors or campus resources may be invited to contribute guidance. During the second half, students will work directly on their own application materials or opportunity searches while E-board members and available advisors circulate for support.
