We the South American and Latine Student Association are hosting a cultural event called "A Taste in Latin America: Arepa Making". This event is a food making event where students will be split into different groups and create arepas, which is a cornmeal cake that is widely known in Colombia and Venezuela. This event is open for everyone to participate and will help our organization promote the sharing of traditions and culture through food as a way to engage with the broader community and acknowledge the diversity of people's background within Syracuse University
