About

Join Student Affairs leaders, Vice Provost for Student Affairs Nicole Mayo and Assistant Vice Provost and Dean of Students Shaka Sydnor, as we kick off National First-Generation College Celebration Week! Connect with fellow first-generation college students, share your journey through interactive “Finish the Sentence” activities, capture a memory at the photo booth, and enjoy cookies and lemonade as we celebrate the achievements, resilience, and experiences of first-generation students. Together, we honor the first generation journey, celebrate our accomplishments, and recognize the strength of our first-generation community!
