About

First-Generation Fest is an exciting annual celebration, honoring the resilience, achievements, and impact of our first-generation students. This year’s denim-themed event recognizes the strength, authenticity, and determination that first-gen students bring to our Panther community.

Join us for a day of connection, resources, and fun! Attend a special first-generation panel featuring students and staff as they share their journeys, challenges, and advice for success. Explore interactive activities, connect with campus support services, discover opportunities for personal and professional growth, and build community with fellow students, faculty, and staff.

Enjoy food, music, games, and giveaways throughout the event. Plus, all attendees can enter raffles for their chance to win a custom destressed denim tote bag with an Amazon Echo Dot AND a Portable Bluetooth Projector and premium giveaway items you won't want to miss!

Whether you're first-gen or an ally, throw on your favorite denim and celebrate the power, pride, and perseverance of being first.

Hosted by: Cultures, Communities & Inclusion , POUNCE Rewards Program, Spotlight Programs Board, University Career Services
