Fall 1 Event

About

This is a general event to cover the operations of the Terrapin Rocket Team (TRT) during the Fall 1 application window. TRT is among the best collegiate rocketry team in the world. TRT has 3 major projects, they are IREC, Liquids, and High Altitude. The IREC team is the largest and their goal is to compete and win the International Rocketry Engineering Competition that takes place every year in Midland Texas. The team is broken up into Solids, which builds our custom rocket motor, Airbrake, which creates the airbrake for the rocket that opens up to we hit the exact altitude we are attempting, Payload, which builds the team's payload, Avionics which designs and builds all of the team's custom flight computers, and Aerostructures, which builds the airframe of the rocket and the parachutes. The goal of Liquids is to build the team's first ever liquid rocket engine and will compete in FAR-OUT in the Mojave desert this year. The goal of High Altitude is to break the altitude record of the team until we hit the legal limit for amateur rocketry of over 400,000 feet.
