This concert will also feature graduate conductor Armando Castillo Trevino, conducting Color in the Grey by Kelijah Dunton. Further repertoire includes works by composers Tyler Grant (Panoramic Landscapes), George Walker (Lyric for Band, arr. Luci Disano), Alex Shapiro (Tight Squeeze) and Sergei Prokofiev (Athletic Festival March, arr. R.F. Goldman).

The USM Concert Band is under the current direction of Dr. Cody Edgerton. Recent ensemble achievements include a Children's Concert for area schools ("Seymour's Great Big Musical Adventure") and the state premiere of a new work by composer Joni Greene (Splitting Light).
