About

Join Central Asian Hub (CAH) and Ukrainian Student Association (UkSA) for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and cultural connection as we honor the victims of the Holodomor in Ukraine and Asharshylyq in Kazakhstan.

The event will feature a panel discussion with professors and historians exploring the history, causes, and lasting impact of these tragedies, followed by an audience Q&A. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a candlelighting ceremony to honor the victims and reflect on the importance of preserving historical memory.

Light refreshments, traditional bites, and snacks will be provided.

Together, we remember the past, honor those who were lost, and ensure their stories are never forgotten.

All NYU students and community members are welcome.
