About
Residents will participate in Tote-ally Thankful, a tote bag decorating program in the Tukwut Classroom on Thursday, November 5th, at 6:30 PM. Residents will personalize their own tote bags in a welcoming environment that encourages creativity, social interaction, and community building. Snacks and drinks will be provided to help residents feel comfortable and connect with their peers.
Identify shared interests with fellow residents through conversation and creative self-expression.
Build connections and foster a sense of belonging by participating in a collaborative decorating activity.
Recognize the importance of creating an inclusive community where residents can express their individuality and feel welcomed.
This program supports the Equity and Inclusion domain of Finding Community by providing residents with an opportunity to connect with peers, celebrate their individuality, and build meaningful relationships in an inclusive environment. The materials I’ll be using are tote bags, paint, and markers from the resource room, chairs, tables, plates. I will be using my budget for nostalgic snacks and drinks such as capri suns, sugar cookies, etc
