Get volunteer experience on campus at the CMU Student Food Pantry!

Volunteers assist during distributions to keep shelves stocked, the pantry spaces clean and organized, answer questions about products, and to assist pantry guests as they shop. Volunteers help to ensure that pantry distributions are able to run smoothly and that guests are able to have a positive shopping experience.

Students who volunteer in the CMU Student Food Pantry are able to gain skills in team building, working across difference, working in student services, learn about food insecurity, and more! This is a great experience for students who need volunteer hours to fulfill classroom or scholarship requirements, are looking for on-campus opportunities, are hoping to get involved and make friends, or are looking to give back to the campus community. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Volunteers should wait alongside the building and notify the front door attendant of their arrival - please do not wait in line with pantry guests.
