About
The World Bank Group-sponsored GWU EMSE capstone project, Measuring Generative AI Exposure and Job Transitions in Developing Countries, aims to develop a reusable analytical pipeline to assess how generative AI may affect occupations and workforce transitions in developing countries, where research remains limited. The capstone team is applying emerging methodologies to estimate occupational AI exposure, classify potential job transitions, and present the findings through an interactive dashboard to support policymaking.
Join us on November 18 to hear more about this exciting project and to meet members of the World Bank Group's Outcomes Department! Following the students' presentation, the department's Director, Lisandro Martin, will discuss their work, ongoing collaboration with GWU, and potential opportunities.
The first hour will be open to the university community, while the bilateral meetings from 1:30-2:30pm will involve a smaller group of university leadership and WBG representatives.
