About

We are the Student National Dental Association (SNDA), an organization that has a heart for minority dental students. We value diversity, outreach, mentorship, and excellence. Our chapter is located at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD). Following our values, we annually put on a program called Shop With a Dentist.

Shop With A Dentist is a program that was created to reach out to elementary students from the city of Louisville. Each year students from Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School spend a day with dental students from ULSD, shopping for wants and needs, and being exposed to the career of dentistry. We hope this day changes the lives for these students as we create a safe space for them to learn, grow, and be happy.
