About
In this virtual [Zoom] session, participants will dive deeper into the connection between confidence and imposter syndrome by exploring the four behavioral styles commonly associated with imposter feelings. Drawing on the research of Dr. Pauline Clance, we'll also examine the six stages of the imposter cycle and how these patterns can reinforce self-doubt, perfectionism, and fear of failure. Through guided discussion, self-reflection, and practical strategies, participants will learn how to recognize their own imposter tendencies, interrupt unhelpful thought patterns, and build confidence grounded in their strengths, skills, and experiences.
This workshop is especially valuable for individuals who have experienced recurring self-doubt, struggle to internalize success, or want to better understand the behaviors and cycles that contribute to imposter syndrome.
What You'll Learn By the end of this session, you will be able to: 1) Identify and understand the four behavioral styles of imposter syndrome. 2) Recognize the six stages of the imposter cycle as defined by Dr. Pauline Clance. 3) Explore the relationship between confidence, self-perception, and imposter feelings.
