About
What does belonging look like to you? In CSIB's Made to Belong: Woven Perspectives, we invite Loyola students to show us through fashion! We’ll provide starter materials, including a mini dress form mannequin, fabric squares, and travel sewing kit. You'll provide the inspiration, vision, and any additional materials to make your look uniquely yours. Optional open studio workshop time will be offered with additional materials provided and a chance to create in community with others. Sewing not your style? Participants will also have the opportunity to enter the contest by creating a look through collage on a paper doll! Each entry should be accompanied by a short blurb explaining the look you’ve created and what belonging means to you.
Contest winner will receive $75 Loyola bookstore or Amazon order of items that support their LUC journey and enrich their experience of belonging. Top entries may also be turned into future CSIB merch designs. Top 10 staff-ranked submissions will be voted on at Desserts in December.
