About

ASEZ’s “Flip the Default” forum will explore how changing everyday campus practices can reduce single-use waste and make sustainable choices easier. Participants will discuss how items such as disposable utensils, straws, and bags are automatically provided and consider alternatives, including providing them only upon request and encouraging reusable options. The forum aims to raise environmental awareness and inspire students to help create a more sustainable University of Houston campus.
