About

The 1st Generation Dinner & A Story is intended to create space for students, staff, and faculty to build connections, converse about the 1st Gen identity, get plugged into resources, and share a meal together. This is a great opportunity for 1st Gen students to get to know 1st Generation faculty & staff and build meaningful relationships among the 1st-Gen the community.

Dinner and a Story facilitates conversations about the struggles and triumphs surrounding the 1st Gen identity and share campus resources available to students on campus and within the Chico community over a 3-course meal. Since this event is about building community, we will not be admitting anyone after 6pm to the event. RSVP to join the conversation!
