About
Technological developments present both challenges and opportunities for the safety and security of water resources. On one hand, technology like AI creates new demand for water, placing more stress on this crucial natural resource. On the other hand, new technology can assist with tasks like groundwater monitoring and studying water consumption patterns. This conference will bring together experts in water law and policy to discuss water, technology, and law, with special attention paid to the Great Lakes region.
The conference is sponsored by The University of Toledo College of Law and its affiliated Legal Institute of the Great Lakes.
