About
African Womanhood Unplugged: Unfiltered conversations. Unapologetic womanhood. is a space for African women at Howard University to connect and have honest conversations about our experiences as we navigate our identity, culture, and womanhood in college. Through an unpopular opinion segment, people can challenge assumptions and explore topics not always openly discussed within our communities. Beyond the conversations, we hope to bring African women on campus together through laughter, music, food, and meaningful connections. Ultimately, the goal is to build a sense of sisterhood where African women feel comfortable expressing themselves, learning from one another, and celebrating the many ways we experience African girlhood.
