About

Ohio University Southern will present handmade Quilts of Valor to 11 local veterans during its annual Veterans Day tribute in the Riffe Rotunda.

This year’s honorees served in the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force, with enlistment dates from 1962 to today. Together, they represent more than 100 years of service across Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Each quilt is handmade and personalized by members of Material Hugs, a quilting guild that includes retired and current OHIO Southern faculty members.

Following the presentation, attendees are invited to meet the honorees and thank them in person. The event is free and open to the public.
