PSSA 2: Supporting Student Survivors of IPV

Supporting Student Survivors of Interpersonal Violence is the second workshop in the Pack Survivor Support Alliance, or PSSA, series offered by the Women's Center. Faculty and staff on a college campus play an integral role in the healing and recovery of college-age student survivors of interpersonal violence. This workshop will provide an overview of some of the warning signs and trauma symptoms of interpersonal violence and the range of ways interpersonal violence can impact the student experience. Participants will practice how to best respond to student disclosures of interpersonal violence, connect students to campus resources and provide student survivors with ongoing support.
