CHASS graduate students are invited to a specially curated writing retreat, designed to provide support, accountability, and dedicated time for writing for students at any stage of the writing process.

The retreat features structured writing and programming sessions, including:

Writers workshop with tips and adviceOpportunities for goal-setting and reflectionDrop-in writing supportExtended periods of uninterrupted writing time tailored to individual projects and needs Date: December 4, 2026 Location: College Building North, Room 205 RSVP Deadline: November 18, 2026 by 5:00pm (PST)

Schedule*

9am - Light breakfast & workshop

10am - Writing session

12pm - Lunch

1-3pm - Writing session

* Attendance for the full day is highly encouraged to help participants build continuity, maintain momentum, and benefit from the shared accountability and support of writing alongside peers.

Light breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages provided.
