Our event will provide IU Indianapolis students with an informative, supportive, and interactive introduction to the dental school interview process. The event is open to all IU Indianapolis students, regardless of major, year, or level of experience with the dental school application process. The goal is to help students better understand what to expect during a dental school interview while creating a comfortable environment where they can learn, ask questions, practice, and connect with other students who are interested in dentistry.

We recognize that preparing for dental school interviews can feel overwhelming, stressful, or intimidating. This event will emphasize that it is completely normal to feel nervous or unsure and that students are not alone in experiencing these feelings. Participants will learn about different aspects of the interview process, including what interviewers may look for, how to approach common interview questions, professional communication, and strategies for managing stress and building confidence.

The event will also provide opportunities for students to interact with fellow pre-dental students, share experiences, and ask questions in a relaxed setting. To make the event engaging and enjoyable, students will participate in a dental school interview-themed Bingo activity that incorporates helpful information and tips throughout the event. Overall, the event is intended to create a welcoming space for IU Indianapolis students to learn more about dental school interviews, practice important skills, and feel more comfortable and prepared for their future dental school journey.
