Soleil Magazine Weekly Meetings

About

Soleil Magazine is a campus publication that promotes awareness of the culture and lifestyle of people of color. We aim to promote positive change, social consciousness, and provide a safe space for marginalized identities through media representation.

We seek to inspire meaningful conversations and display new or differing perspectives through writing, photography, fashion, and artistic pieces of work. We focus on professional enrichment and providing job experience. We are also hugely involved in community building & making sure our voices are heard. Our objective is to bring attention to holistic well-being, academic success, and social awareness, as we speak on issues that matter to the community.

At each meeting we will provide a space from people of all walks of life to come and create, at the end of the year we produce a magazine with the collection of all our work.

WWU is an equal opportunity institution. Advanced notice is appreciated and necessary for some accessibility needs. For disability accommodations, please contact soleilmagazine444@gmail.com.
