Insect Pinning and Preservation Lab

Have you ever wondered how insects are preserved? Come learn with us and make one for yourself at our pinning session hosted by our advisor Dr. Lajeunesse! He'll give us a talk on some of the important reasons why we may want to keep collections of insects, how they can be helpful in both professional and casual settings, and some easy ways that we can keep collections of our own with home materials. While we will bring bugs to provide, you are also welcome to bring your own (dead). There is also no dress code for the lab and there should not be any messes made in the lab space.
