Want to feel more confident with basic clinical skills before you ever step into a professional program?
Join us for a hands-on Vital Signs Skills Clinic led by Spencer Holsinger, former U.S. Army medic and current pre-med student. This beginner-friendly session is designed to give pre-health students practical experience with skills used every day across healthcare settings.
You’ll practice how to take an accurate blood pressure, use a pulse oximeter, count pulse and respirations, and understand what those numbers are actually telling you. You’ll also learn how positioning, technique, and other factors can affect a reading and when something should be rechecked.
You’ll be using the equipment, practicing the skills, asking questions, and building confidence in a supportive setting.
Perfect for all pre-health students, including first-year students who want to start building clinical confidence early.
Friday, November 20 | 12:00–1:30 PM | HH1100
Space is limited for this hands-on clinic, so RSVP early to reserve your spot.
