The Zonta club of Frankfort has invited us to join them for the annual Zonta Says NO! to Violence Against Women campaign walk! This marks the start of 16 days of activism where members of Zonta International actively participate in this campaign to influence laws and change attitudes, aiming to end violence against women and girls on local, national and international levels.
"Violence not only negatively affects women and girls; it also affects their families, communities and countries. It knows no national or cultural barriers; it takes place at home, in the workplace and in open spaces, and affects millions of women and girls in peacetime and in conflict."
We will be meeting at the historic Old Stoney in Frankfort for presentations and a walk around downtown followed by a lunch with the Zonta Club of Frankfort members. Please wear orange!
