Cultural & International

About

Students will learn about African Spirituality practices, including the culture behind

orishas, altar spaces, connecting with ancestors, etc. They will learn about the

connection between these cultures and anklets, specifically the spiritual meaning

behind them as well as their history. This event will emphasize love of one’s culture and

where they came from. Participants will then have the opportunity to make their own

beaded anklet, if they paid to participate in the event.
