About

Come join the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Chapter, for an educational program celebrating the life, legacy, and contributions of our founder, Hattie Mae Annette Dulin Redford. As one of the seven founders of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Hattie Mae dedicated her life to education, leadership, and service. Through this program, participants will learn about her journey as an educator, her career in the Indianapolis public school system, and her commitment to academic excellence.

Participants will also explore her contributions to Sigma Gamma Rho, including her leadership roles as Grand Epistoleus, Grand Tamiochus, and financial consultant. Through interactive activities, historical discussions, and reflection, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how Hattie Mae's dedication to education and the sorority's mission helped shape the organization's legacy.

This program aims to honor Hattie Mae's lasting impact while encouraging members to carry forward the values of scholarship, sisterhood, and service in their own lives and communities. Join us as we celebrate our founder and recognize the importance of understanding the women whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
