About

This group is open to anyone on campus who wants to participate in discussions about AI in teaching and learning at UCSB. We investigate how AI can be used for teaching and learning, while critically evaluating its risks, affordances, and tradeoffs. Meeting agendas often have:

The latest news and research about AI in/for courses at UCSB.

Short informal presentations from faculty and students who are using AI for teaching and learning purposes.

Peer sharing, Q&A, and tech demos.
